Susan Cain, Ed.D, LCSW
Author of The Riding Styles Assessment Series

Dr. Susan Cain is an organizational consultant and coach specializing in performance development and strategic alignment. Sue is a partner with The Corporate Learning Institute in Chicago.

Sue coaches equine professionals and organizations to perform at their best.

Sue has written two books with her co-author, Debbie Roberts-Loucks, about Horse Whisperer and New York Times Best Selling Author, Monty Roberts, Life Lessons From the Man Who Listens To Horses, and Horse Sense for Leaders; Building Trust-Based Relationships, available on Amazon. Using Monty’s trust-based approach, Sue facilitates leadership workshops for organizations at Flag Is Up Farms in Solvang, California.

Sue has extensive experience with performance assessments, and created the Riding Styles Assessment series to help equestrians reflect on the impact they make on horses, humans and students. She holds a Doctoral degree in Organizational Development and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and non- profit management. Sue and her daughters have a Quarter Horse named Joey.
